A friend sent me a link to some amazing pictures. They were taken at the Singapore Grand Prix in..well...Singapore which happened to be the first Formula One race held at night. Here are a couple to peak your interest:

Yesterday on the way back from Thai food for lunch, a Land Cruiser on the road in front of us was acting strangely. She stopped at a red light...half way into the intersection. After a pause she begin to back up and almost ran into the car I was riding in. Once the light turned green she took WAY too long to take off again....something was clearly wrong.

Over the next 1/4 mile her vehicle swerved from side to side. We were thinking she was either drunk or having some other medical issues. When it was safe to pass we did so and all turned around to see what her deal was. As we proceeded through the next intersection we watched her slowly veer to the right and run smack into an very large tree, pop a wheelie (quite a feat in a Land Cruiser) and come to rest on the driver's side.

We immediately turned around and went back to help (with quite a few other witnesses). The SCV Sheriffs arrived extremely fast (within 2 minutes) and informed us they had been looking for her. When they pulled her out of the car we noticed that she had what appeared to be a hospital bracelet on her wrist. wtf? comes to mind.

At any rate, she seemed to be OK...

Holly crap, two posts in one day!?!? Yup, I couldn't let this one slip through the cracks.

For all of you Santa Clarita residents, it's time to help out one of your own. Tara Rice of Valencia (a former Miss Teen California All American, is an actress and model who has appeared in magazines such as Maxim and films including "Austin Powers in Goldmember.") is currently engaged in an epic battle to the death, an extremely important national security matter, a promising experiment that may reverse the effects of global warming a truly historic event - the first online search for the iconic St. Paulie Girl!

St. Paulie Girl beer has partnered with Maxim Magazine to let you (yes you!) vote on the 2009 St. Pauli Girl, um, girl.

So make Valencia proud and go to maxim.com/stpauligirl and vote for Tara!

It's been a while...again...

Well, here we are again. It's been a couple weeks since I've updated this bad boy so I guess I should write something.

Things are a little better after Fez being gone for two weeks. I can finally fall asleep at night even though he isn't by my side, and my last memories of him are fading to those of happier times. Although, I still expect him to bark when someone knocks on the front door or when people walk by outside. I think that is just going to take some time.

The kids are doing great. J.T. is really starting to communicate now. Seems like every time I'm with him he's picked up a new word or a series of grunts that constitute words. And of course Taylor is just ridiculous with her ability to carry on conversations.

In other news, I will be traveling to fabulous Las Vegas this week for two days of gambling and libations. Seems everyone is getting away to Vegas these days. We will be staying in a great suite at the Venetian.
